Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Merabi Law, APC collects through merabilaw.com and its advertising, how the firm uses it, and the choices you have. Last updated October 8, 2026.
What the firm collects and why.
Merabi Law, APC ("the firm") operates merabilaw.com. This policy covers the website, its forms, and the online ads that lead to it.
Information you give the firm
When you request a case review, the form asks for your name, phone number and email address, how and when you prefer to be contacted, where the problem or incident happened, the type of matter, when it began, a description in your own words, whether evidence exists, and how you heard about the firm. You decide what to include. Please do not send confidential or time sensitive details until the firm has confirmed representation in writing.
If you call, email or text the office, the firm keeps the details you share in that conversation.
Information collected automatically
When a form is submitted, the website records the date and time, your IP address and your browser type with the request, to prevent spam and abuse. The site uses the Google Ads tag to measure whether its advertising leads to case review requests and phone calls. Google may set cookies or use similar technology for this. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts and script libraries from cdnjs, which receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.
Live chat
The site offers a live chat window run by tawk.to. If you use it, the messages you type, any contact details you share, and technical details such as your IP address and browser are processed by tawk.to so the firm can read and answer them. Please do not share confidential details in the chat.
Google Ads lead forms and calls
Some of the firm's Google ads include a short form or a call button. If you submit a form inside a Google ad, Google shares the details you entered (such as your name, phone number and email) with the firm so it can contact you. When you call from an ad, Google reports the call to the firm, which can include the time, the length of the call and your phone number. Google's own handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How the firm uses it
The firm uses your information to respond to you, evaluate whether it can help with your matter, schedule a consultation, keep a record of the request, prevent fraud and abuse, and understand which advertising works. The firm does not use it for any unrelated purpose without telling you first.
Who sees it, and how it is protected.
Who can see your information
Requests are delivered to the attorney and authorized firm staff. The firm uses service providers to run the website and deliver messages, including its web host, its email delivery providers and its marketing agency, which manages the website and advertising for the firm. These providers handle information only to provide their services to the firm.
The firm does not sell or rent your personal information, and it does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
When the law requires it
The firm may disclose information when required by law, court order or professional rules, or to protect the rights and safety of the firm, its clients or others.
How long it is kept
The firm keeps case review requests for as long as needed to respond, to evaluate the matter, and to meet its legal and professional record keeping obligations, and then deletes them.
Security
Requests are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database outside the public part of the website, with access limited to the firm and the people who maintain the site for it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send information you could not afford to have disclosed until the firm has confirmed representation.
Your rights as a California resident.
Access, correction and deletion
You may ask the firm what personal information it holds about you, ask it to correct anything that is wrong, or ask it to delete your information, subject to any legal or professional obligation to keep it. The firm will not treat you differently for making a request.
Cookies and advertising
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage how Google personalizes ads at the Google ad settings page. The website works without advertising cookies.
Children
This website is meant for adults. The firm does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through the website.
